About John

Hi, I'm John Seitzinger, LMT, MSN. My intention is to cultivate a nourishing space that feels safe and warm for clients to experience healing and relief. Whether it's calming your nervous system and/or providing relief from chronic or acute aches, pains, and injuries, I'm passionate about the healing power of therapeutic touch via massage and bodywork.

I have been in health care for over 25 years, first as a Registered Nurse, then as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and presently (and enthusiastically) as a licensed massage therapist.

I am passionate about seeing people as whole individuals with unique experiences, and getting to the root of their ailment or concern. I have a deep interest and love for the anatomy and pathophysiology of the human body, and deep reverence for the mind, body, and spirit connection.

In my own journey of healing, I have found massage and bodywork to be transformative and highly therapeutic. It has led me to create True Wellness & Bodywork so that I may facilitate real change for others who also want to live more vibrantly and comfortably.

I am a husband, a father, and I love snowboarding, rock-climbing, mountain biking, and cooking plant-based meals.

MY APPROACH

Each session is 100% customized for your needs. In a collaborative process, we’ll discuss your goals prior to your treatment.

We’ll create a therapeutic plan that is just right for you, whether you’re wanting relaxation for your nervous system or more focused treatment for pain and mobility concerns.

I love helping people improve their quality of life with customized treatments that meet their individual needs and goals.

I offer the following modalities that I can customize
and blend into your treatment, with No additional charge

  • Swedish Massage: Long strokes and light to firm pressure to provide gentle relaxation.

  • Deep Tissue/Sports: Focused technique that releases tension deep in the muscles and connective tissues. Used to address acute and chronic pain and/or mobility issues.

  • Myofascial Release: Focused technique involving sustained pressure myofascial tissues — the connected tissues that wrap, connect and support your muscles.

  • Trigger Point Therapy: A soft-tissue treatment that helps release tense, painful knots in your muscles and fascia

  • Gua Sha: A traditional Chinese technique in which a smooth-edged tool is used to rigorously stroke your skin to release and break up stubborn connective tissues.

  • Cupping: a therapy in which pneumatic cups are applied to the body, creating suction as a way of stimulating the flow of energy and opening space in the tissues.

"John is amazing!

I was dealing with chronic pain and John helped me find relief that I hadn't had in years.

His knowledge of the body, and how to use massage and bodywork to alleviate pain and get to the root of the issue is outstanding.

He has a gift for making you feel relaxed, while also creating real change and helping you get back to living the life you want!"

"I would like to share about my experience with John facilitating healing for me through his gift of massage. Four years ago, I was physically attacked and became very fearful of any type of physical touch, especially from a man.

While receiving safe touch through massage, that fear started to slowly fade away. There was a time when I started crying while he was giving me a massage, and he asked me all the right questions and ensured I felt okay and safe.

John has the hands and energy of a healer and will take great care of you.

His ability to heal is way beyond comprehension, and I'm very grateful I got to experience it".
